According to Discovery Health nearly 70% of South African women and 31% of South African men are overweight or obese - focus is now on unhealthy diets and not exercise

Apart from the fact the global average is 30% and we are shockingly high over that value, the other interesting thing I'm noting is the newer focus on unhealthy diets versus in the past the focus was on getting more exercise. Most people on a LCHF diet know that diet was the key to losing weight and not exercise. Its good to see medical insurance companies now also catching up.

Although LCHF is not mentioned they mention getting enough healthy saturated fats and reducing the intake of processed foods. Taken many years but I'm really glad that the message is changing.
