As a Linux power user, being able to run smartphone applications right into your computer means a lot to many. Android, the de-facto smartphone operating system used by people worldwide also leverages the Linux ecosystem to achieve its objectives. Android emulators are pieces of computer applications that let you run your favorite Android apps or games directly from your Linux system.
Sometimes it can be very useful to run an Android-only app on the desktop like I just needed to run a tactical map on a separate screen for War Thunder and the best one is an Android app only, so an emulator was the only way.
I found this useful list at www.ubuntupit.com/top-android-… and have been trying Genymotion. Are you using one of these on Linux yourself or a different one?
