Dassiesfontein is about an hours drive up the N2 from Cape Town. Apart from their delicious breakfasts (complete with a skilpadjie) the shop contains some amazing items you just don't elsewhere from vintage metal signs, locally made veldskoen, locally made leather goods, jams and preserves, antiques, and probably a good few items you don't know what they are used for. They also stock Dover cast iron wood stoves, one of which they use to bake their bread in.
