My new Huawei E5885Ls Mobile Wifi Pro2 Hotspot with LTE Cat6, Ethernet and 6400mAh battery

So my imported Netgear Aircard 790S mobile hotspot did not work so well with Waze (had the searching network issue) and nor did it connect to do firmware updates (it was a Telstra branded import). This Huawei is certified for local use (so it updates too) and has a whopping 25 hour usage battery (and can charge an additional device). It has the normal LTE 300 Mbps upstream and can also connect to Ethernet, and on the WiFi side it will connect to 2.4GHz or 5GHz or both. It has no major bells and whistles apart from that but does also cater for a guest WiFi connection which can be enabled, and a NFC auto-configure option.

For me the biggest plus is no flat battery by 5 or 6pm after a long day at work. My Pixel 2 XL phone already gives a full day's use without charging during the day but with these two devices together battery capacity is just no longer going to be any issue regardless of how long the day gets.
