Bought a Dremel 4000 rotary power tool Yes I'm no real handyman but when I need to do something, I do need a suitable tool. When you think of Leatherman for multi-tool knives, you think Dremel for rotary power tools. I've got a largish grinder (somewhere), I have a power hammer-drill which weighs a ton, and I sold my circular saw because it scared the heck out of me. In a nutshell the Dremel tool (along with its hundreds of accessories) replaces most other rotary power tools. It is meant to be fairly lightweight for medium to small jobs, and accessories to suite just about everything including engraving, grinding, sanding, cutting, polishing, routing, drilling, etc. To see a guide to the tool accesories have a look at http://ift.tt/2jGJrvB. Apart from the accessories themselves there are numerous attachments such as found at http://ift.tt/2kpSNcv. My first job with it is going to be a proper cleaning and polishing of a vintage safety razor from 1959. I'm looking forward to seeing that razor better than new again! Mine came with the flexi shaft and 45 accessories to get going with. All I bought extra so far was the multi chuck. Most of the attachments are actually pretty reasonable in price.
