Inoreader - my current choice of RSS news reader I have recently switched from Feedly RSS news reader to Inoreader. For those who are wondering what an RSS reader is.... various websites, blogs, etc have an RSS feed link that you can subscribe to, and then from one app like this you can quickly scan all the new posts, without any need to visit each website. Since cleaning up my feeds I am now monitoring 93 different feeds that post about 600 posts a day, of which I see I read about 60 posts daily, and only about 5 to 6 get posted by me to social media every day. So why did I switch to Inoreader? 1. I love the full dark theme which is easier on my eyes. 2. Very detailed stats which shows feed errors, how often I read which feeds, etc. 3. You can set highlights (for keywords) or rules. 4. I can mark a whole feed as read in one go (for some reason Feedly only now allowed one screen at a time to be marked as read). 5. Inoreader's payment model was a bit more iterative than Feedly's. 6. You can share posts to a Channel on Inoreader that others can follow (you can view mine at http://ift.tt/2l1hjja). 7. Comments can be left on posts. 8. Similar to Feedly it does also have a mobile app to read while on the move. Inoreader has certainly got a lot more going for it than Feedly. One slight caveat though is that it is a little slower than Feedly. You can find Inoreader at http://ift.tt/13GKRVT. See all the screenshots with my comments at http://ift.tt/2l18KVl
