A research project by the North Carolina State University visualizes the sentiment of tweets posted on Twitter

This could be pretty useful for someone doing research around sentiments expressed on social media. It is only for Twitter currently but Twitter has a very high volume of posts and it is centralised with APIs to easily capture the data.
