Virtual cards are great for online purchases where you do not have to give out your physical card details, and where you can often use the virtual card for a single use transaction or just for a single vendor. They just make so much sense and yet many banks do not yet offer them. At least tap-and-go cards seem to have become more prevalent since Covid-19 (I made my first purchase last week using just my Fitbit device).

FNB has confirmed to MyBroadband that it will launch its virtual card service on Monday 16 November.
