Fit More Podcasts Into Your Day With This Calculator - Also makes you realise how much 'wasted' time you have to utilise
The Podcast Calculator itself is quite interesting in calculating those activities where you may be commuting, getting toiletries done, doing chores, etc where your brain is not really actively busy with anything, and you could fill that time with listening to podcasts. Those podcasts could be educational, entertainment, news, etc. The thing with podcasts is you start listening, you can pause or stop, and just continue later from where you left off.
The calculator shows me I have 16 days of 'slack' time per year I can easily fill up (I do already actually). It allows for listening speed but the average length of a podcast can certainly vary if you listen to many different shows. But it does give an estimation of how many episodes you can subscribe to and absorb in a period of time.

I used to listen to an unreasonable number of podcasts—usually while commuting from Brooklyn to Manhattan and back each day, a process that involved a lot of walking and a lot of waiting for trains. But the pandemic changed all that. I’ve been working from home since March, and my daily commute is currently only as long as it takes for Slack to load. Yet I am still subscribed to 44 podcasts, and I have 29 episodes in my queue. When am I supposed to find time to listen to all of them?
