Let no App store claim it is by default more secure than others - Google Play has been spreading advanced Android malware for years

I had to laugh the other day when Google was warning Android users not to trust the Huawei app store and I filed that away at the time as no-one can make a claim like without becoming unstuck themselves - every piece of software has some or other bug or vulnerability that will be uncovered in time. There is no reason to think Huawei's store is any less secure than Google's own one, even with all the checks that get done, and here we see the proof yet again. We cannot just assume Google is more secure... even politically they are saddled with the US CLOUD Act which puts them on a worse footing than China (the USA legalised the spying into law).

Apple iOS users should not snigger either as Apple has been fooled a few times too themselves. Nothing is truly secure.
