An interesting read for archivists. I do remember a few years back when my very expensive LG smart TV stopped outputting to its HDMI ports the solution was also to remove the motherboard and to "bake" it for 10 minutes at a specific temperature (I bought a thermometer) and it has been working fine ever since.

Need I add: Don't try this yourself unless you accept the risks.
