One of the most important elements of a wet shave is a good lather. A thick, dense, rich, frothy, smooth, . . . ahem, sorry, lost my train of thought. A drool worthy lather makes a huge difference in the comfort and performance of your shave. But you might be asking yourself, which is better: a shaving cream or a shaving soap? I must be the exception not getting really lather from creams, and I much prefer shaving soaps. For soaps a good boar bristle brush works well for me.
