10 Best Men’s Razors For Sensitive Skin Without Burn Or Irritate 2019 - A single blade is still best!

Buying a five or six-blade razor may not be your best option, even if manufacturers say otherwise. These five blades cut tight but run the risk of irritation and shaving. Buying a good razor from a reputable brand is crucial.

I differ with the article in that a safety razor requires more skill (a little maybe but really not anything difficult) and even a cartridge razor requires shaving cream or gel. A safety razor could use the same gel or canned shaving cream but many users want something a better than that and are prepared to spend an extra 5 minutes doing it.

Yes we agree on the less irritation (an ingrown hair) as well as the much lower cost to using a safety razor. I just find it so ironic that with all the benefits of a safety razor over a cartridge razor, why are the majority of people not using a safety razor? To answer my own question... I was clueless about safety razors and what their benefits were and I suffered with ingrown hair for over 30 years. Apart from the ingrown hair I wasted a fortune on Gillette cartridge blades...

An added benefit of safety razors is they are great from easily removing beards where cartridge razors keep clogging up.
