A new wearable glove sensor, invented by Lucky Netshidzati a 26-year-old South African entrepreneur who hails from Limpopo, has hit the market. The gloves are designed using virtual reality gesture control to assist deaf people. While there are no systems in place to assist deaf people to communicate, the new glove sensor is now able to translate text and voice. The device is a wearable solution that can be used to carry out everyday activities - that would otherwise be difficult for those with visual impediments.
