Yes, South Africa manufactures combustion engine cars for the local as well as the export market but everything continues oblivious the changes already happening in the market. It's good to see Mexico is already making some bold moves to produce their own electric vehicles and sourcing their parts directly from China.

The Thalia will be the first electric designed and manufactured in Mexico. 80% of its parts will be sourced from Mexican suppliers as well. Production is scheduled for to begin next year.
