Works for Windows, MacOS and Linux and is quite fast without much lag. Nice thing is no app to install on Android (nor root required) but you need a USB cable and ADB enabled on your computer, with USB debugging enabled on the Android device. I noted the screen must be on otherwise you'll just see a black screen from the computer. Mouse and keyboard work intuitively from the computer.
It is fully free to use, unlike some other apps.

Scrcpy lets you view your phone screen on the Linux desktop and interact with it using a mouse and keyboard. The app is free and open-source.
