New Raspberry Pi 4 brings faster CPU, up to 4GB of RAM, 2 x 4k Display Ports, Gigabit Ethernet - It's become ready for desktop use

These latest upgrades almost make it an overkill for many headless applications but these latest upgrades make it really suitable for additional desktop use, basic streaming media machines, schools, etc. I paid a lot more for the two Intel NUCs I've been using for this purpose.  The weaker link in the chain though remains the SD card although one could fit a small SSD drive behind it and set temp files to rather write to that drive, or with 4GB of RAM even better is to put some swap file in RAM.
