Kiwi Browser: How to Install Chrome Extensions on an Android Browser - Chrome is being out-innovated by 3rd party browsers

If you’ve ever sat on your laptop or desktop and wondered why you can’t use all your fun browser extensions on your smartphone, you must be a Chrome user. Firefox fans have been able to install extensions for the Android version of the browser for some time, but this ability has yet to make it into the official version of Chrome.

Instead check out an alternative browser — based on Chromium, of course — that gives you all the familiarity of Chrome with the (newly added) bonus of being able to use extensions with your mobile browser, too. It's called Kiwi Browser, and you can go to the link below to find out how to get started unlocking support for extensions. Not everything works though so be prepared to find many (most) extensions not working properly as they were intended for desktop only use.

Becoming clearer that 3rd parties such as Brave, Vivaldi, Microsoft and now Kiwi Browser are unlocking lots of interesting innovation from Chromium. It's good that Chromium offers a solid compatible base browser but is a bit worrying for Google that they are not setting the trend. I've stopped using Chrome quite a while ago as since I sampled what I could do with Vivaldi's tabs I can't go back to Chrome. Even Firefox's Tree Style Tab has nothing that Chrome can touch to compete with it.
