Firefox extremely slow to load pages after startup - try deleting the profile Archived subdirectory

I've been experiencing this problem the last two weeks or so - Firefox starts up but it takes a few minutes to load the pages. Deleting the Archived directory seems to solve the issue. You'll find this folder in your Firefox Profiles directory under a directory called "datareporting". Note you may find a few named profiles there but just delete this Archived directory in each one you find. It causes no harm and loses none of your settings.

So in Linux you should find that at /home/yourloginname/.mozilla/firefox/firefoxprofilename.default/datareporting/.

Windows may have it under: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\LastModifiedDir\DataReporting\Archived.
