Huawei’s Mate X insane foldable smartphone – is a 5G phone with a Kirin 980 processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 4,500mAh battery
The Mate X can be used as a “regular” smartphone when folded, with its 6.6-inch display on the front. When users want to use a bigger display, they can unfold the device – thanks to its built-in hinge under the screen – into an 8-inch 2,480 x 2,200 touchscreen tablet.
Different from the Samsung Fold is that this has the folding screen on the outside and yes if you thought the Samsung was costly, this one will currently be starting at $2,600 but Huawei says they are working on getting the cost down. That said 512GB of storage and a big battery like this is quite high end.
