Fully Charged's review video on the KIA Soul EV 2019 - this is what mainstream electric cars will probably look like
Sorry but Jaguar, Tesla, BMW, etc are aiming at the luxury segment of the market. Kia, Hyundai, Renault, Nissan, (hopefully VW), etc will be in the mainstream purchasers' sights. I foresee the Korean manufacturers as more likely to hit the sweet spot (many Chinese and Indian models possibly hitting the low end of the market). So I'm really interested in seeing where this model goes as well as its early road tests.
What we know so far is it will have a 301 mile (484 km) range with three level regen braking which means the foot brake is almost just reserved for emergency stops. Interesting also that it features "animal free" finishes inside - a nice name for leather look alike ;-)
