PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) mobile has as many players as Fortnite
The mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds now has just as many players as Fortnite at over 200 million users, the company told The Verge today. Both games now have around 30 million daily active users.
With all the talk we hear about Fortnite its good to know it has a pretty strong alternative contender out there.
PUBG is a battle royale shooter that pits 100 players against each other in a struggle for survival. 100 players parachute onto a remote 8x8 km island for a winner-takes-all showdown. Players have to locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles and supplies, and defeat every player in a graphically and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone. Gather supplies and outwit your opponents to become the last person standing.
