How to send gifts from the App Store on iOS
Some interesting things to bear in mind at the link below. I had major issues with buying a gift online in the SA store for my niece in Australia and she could not redeem it - it basically went to complete waste as I did not realise (or is it new) that they could just switch country stores and redeem it. I had to go buy through a 3rd party in the end. For the US and SA stores I belong to for Apple I had to connect credit cards for the relevant countries and it was not so easy to just change stores.
Anyone know if this has changed, or had any experience of sending an App Store gift to someone in another country?
