OnePlus 6T review: Making affordable unbeatable - Nobody builds a phone with so much bang for the buck like OnePlus
That is a pretty good summary of the OnePlus phones - they pack a lot of features in for the price versus some other high-end phones with their prices going ever higher and higher.
Be very wary though of which region's model you buy as the "normal" US/EU model has Android Play Store included (in the EU still too??) and is running OxygenOS, whilst the Chinese regional model has HydrogenOS running which excludes the Play Store and Google apps, and yes it is often cheaper.
