Standard Bank in South Africa goes live with Samsung Pay
Samsung’s tap-and-go payments platform, Samsung Pay, is now live in a trial phase for Standard Bank customers. This follows the soft-launch of the service earlier this month with Absa.
Standard Bank cards supported during early access are Mastercard credit and cheque cards, Samsung said in a statement on Friday.
Samsung users who bank will Standard Bank can try the payment service provided they have a Galaxy Note8, S9, S8, S7, A8, A5 or A7 (2017 edition) smartphone.
