Blue Irish Burger at the Slug & Lettuce at The River Club in Cape Town
Haven't been to The River Club for a while and was impressed with the whole revamp done there. A whole new look and feel, and the Slug & Lettuce had a busy vibe. I liked their selection of good craft beers too. I had the CBC Amber Weis.
The Blue Irish burger is a flame-grilled burger with Jameson BBQ basting, topped with blue cheese, Guinness cheese sauce and crispy onion rings. The blue cheese is slightly heated so brings out all the flavour and has a nice smooth texture.
