Why Android is losing in aviation apps
It is pretty well much a chicken-and-egg situation because the apps need to be there to be used on Android. It is true that many small companies may develop for the iPad and stop there. The fragmentation issue in Android should not be the problem it used to once be, as long as you target say 10" or larger displays.
ForeFlight is one of the best aviation apps but is only available on iOS.
