Human Connection Network - a nonprofit social network that connects information to action and promotes positive local and global change in all areas of life
It looks quite a bit like Google+ but has some quite unique functionality for supporting opposing factual arguments which will then be voted on my 100 strangers. It also has very powerful filtering helping you find what you want. It is certainly something of interest for charities, non-profits and activists wanting to mobile support or ideas. Looks like it could also be a very good general social network too. They are wanting to complete their funding target to get the network publicly launched.
