Way Back When from the WayBackMachine: My WordPress Site Was Started on 17 Jan 2011
Looking back at the first archives of my site at http://bit.ly/2Ea1OCK when I also started using my domain name https://gadgeteer.co.za shows my first blog entry below on 17 Jan 2011 announcing that I was learning WordPress and bringing over the content from my Google Sites pages (it is still there but redirects visitors to the new pages).
So I spent 6 years using WordPress until I now changed to Drupal. So watch out for 2023!
