How to Use Vineyard to Run Windows Apps on Linux
Like PlayOnLinux (for games), Vineyard is another front end to WINE. WINE already allows you to install and run many Windows applications on Linux (like MS Office) and Vineyard will make the tweaking of WINE a lot easier for many people.
Many prefer to run Windows apps under WINE because they run far quicker and run just like native Linux apps without the need to boot up a whole VM operating system.
