After 15 years, this 'GoldenEye 007' speedrunning record has been broken - Watch the player's ecstatic reaction!

More than 20 years its release, gamers are still trying to master GoldenEye 007 on Nintendo 64, with a recent influx of speedrunners trying to play the game as fast as possible. Many have tried to crack a long-held record by speedrunner Bryan Bosshardt on "Dam," the game's first level.

With a time of 53 seconds on the game's lowest difficulty (Agent), many gamers have pondered if it was even possible to go faster. 126 people are tied alongside Bosshardt's record. But now, after 15 years, that record has been broken by Australian speedrunner Karl Jobst, who clocked in with a run of 0:52 on Sunday.

The run was recorded on Twitch, complete with Jobst's ecstatic reaction.
