The UK’s Royal Mail Is Getting All-Electric Vans
Electric vehicles are great because they are greener, since they don’t consume fuel, which reduces our need for the resource, and it also means that less pollutants are emitted. And while we’re still a long way from an all electric vehicle society, in the UK they are working toward that goal. This should bring us one step closer.
The UK’s Royal Mail service has announced a partnership with Arrival to use electric vans to help make their deliveries. Right now only nine commercial trucks will be used and will be operating out of the Royal Mail’s central London depot, but over time maybe more of the Royal Mail’s fleet could be converted to electric vans.
