Knife Buckle by Custom Knifemaker Pieter van der Westhuizen Maybe you don't want to carry a pocket knife around the whole time, and sometimes you need to open a bottle or trim your nails whilst doing what you do during the day. This may be a good solution for those times. These knives are custom made in South Africa by Pieter van der Westhuizen and distributed online through Sharp Edge (http://ift.tt/2mmchCh). I have not seen them in brick-and-mortar retail stores. They come in two widths (30mm or 40mm) and in brown or black in varying lengths. My 34" waist found the size 34 belt too small though so I ended up with a size 36 belt. You do need to thread the end of the belt through one of the loops on your pants to keep it flat. The knife itself is slightly curved and slides easily in and out of the belt. It is well made and looks like it should last well. I'd probably not try take this anywhere near airport security though as nail files can't travel in the cabin.
