YouTube Go is offline-centric and for bandwidth challenged countries It's the YouTube app that bandwidth challenged countries (and offline areas) have been waiting for, and you can share your saved videos with friends via Bluetooth transfer (no Internet required). This could mean a lot for countries that offer educational content via free WiFi hotspots, where the user will then watch the videos later where there is no Internet connectivity. Even with ever-improving mobile data coverage and an increasing number of WiFi hotspots, it's often still difficult to watch videos anywhere you'd like. This problem is especially prevalent in less-developed countries. Because of this, the YouTube team has created YouTube Go, an app that centers around saving videos to view later.
