History of Parow, a suburb in Cape Town (old film) An old 8mm film sourced by my father which he sent away to have converted to VHS cassette format (probably in early 1980's) and I finally found the VHS cassette and converted it to digital format. It looks like the film was shot in the early 1960's or so (the cars and train should help date it). The quality has unfortunately suffered badly with the deterioration of the VHS but it has been a goal of mine for many years to get this converted to digital and get it onto YouTube. http://bit.ly/2iCR4Bi
