So when an Austrian electric battery company Kriesel tricked out a monstrous SUV with a new electric engine, it was fitting that the Arnold was on hand with his countrymen to give the beast its world premiere. The ride itself is a rugged Mercedes Benz G Class, aka the G-wagon. Typically, this is the type of car that guzzles gas — the 2016 models only manage about 13 miles per gallon. But with the electric engine conversion, the G-Class has a range of about 300 kilometers (186 miles) per charge.
