TRILBY VS FEDORA –

Trilby vs Fedora - Do many still know what these mean? No it's not Fedora as in the Linux distro (although their symbol is one, and the linked article's graphic does give it away). As the urge for men in their 20’s and 30’s to wear formal hats increases, so too does the confusion over which hat is which. In particular, the trilby versus the fedora. A hat is not just a fashion statement (although most do say something about their owner much like the type of hat years ago would have indicated your occupation or status in society), they also serve a very functional use such as keeping the head warm or dry, protecting from the sun, concealing items, etc. Thinking back to my youth an active part of our school uniform was the wearing of a boater in high school. In junior school we wore caps. And there are way more than two styles of hat.... see a list at http://ift.tt/2bxNSUg.
