Netflix imagines concept smart contact lens to promote 'Black Mirror' The video does look a bit freaky.... but I'll bet that is where tech is going, whether we like it or not. It does look a bit sad though seeing how we'll be sitting right next to each other and possibly not interacting. Possibly it will start out being used on public transport during commutes and as augmented reality, but if we cast our minds back to 1900 the motor car was not accepted (or the steam locomotives before that), neither were cellphones in the 1980's (some say still today), and many other breakthrough technologies.
