Fingerprint Quick Action Brings the Pixel's Fingerprint Gestures to Any Phone The Pixel phones have one really neat, hidden feature that so far has been hard to duplicate: fingerprint gestures. Swipe down on the sensor on the back of the phone and your notification shade comes down. Now, other phones can get in on the action. XDA user ztc1997 has created a small app that lets you use your fingerprint sensor as a makeshift touchpad for simple gestures. To enable it, you’ll need to install the app from the source link below, then follow the steps at http://ift.tt/2fypKEX. It does not require root access, and although there are not many gestures and actions available right now, it is expected to expand in functionality.
