Photos and Videos from our Cederberg Holiday Oct 2016 This was a quick breakaway for a weekend and a 16km round trip hike up to Disa Poll and Waterfall, with a look at the San Painting at Kromrivier on the way back. Glad that I got quite a bit of video as well as three photospheres so it will give a good feel of what it was like there. I have uploaded them to Flickr so hope the photos and video will be more easily accessible. The first shock on arrival was that the reception is no longer at the farmhouse, but at a brand new reception centre. The next shock was some new "architected" houses being built, and the third shock (but maybe for me a niceish one) is that Internet via WiFi is finally at Kromrivier. No-one will believe this, but I did not use the WiFi at all. The phones at Kromrivier are now off Telkom and are VoIP phones connected over the Internet.
