Building a living photo frame with a Raspberry Pi and a motion detector | OfBrooklyn.com

Building a living photo frame with a Raspberry Pi and a motion detector I've had two or three different photo frames over the last few years. I no longer go for SD card driven ones as who wants to keep copying to SD cards? So I look for WiFi enabled ones that will auto update from Flickr, G+, etc. But one challenge is that my Chumby's upstream service died, and the iGala one has also gone out of business (luckily it will still downloads photos from Flickr). So a Raspberry Pi one really makes sense as you are in total control, and it is future proof. The project below is quite interesting with it's movement sensor, but I'm also liking the idea of ordering a Pi touchscreen (see http://ift.tt/1oXfshk) and case (see http://ift.tt/1SjMjs7) that makes it really neat and compact.
