Lifehacker Survey - Five Best Razors Although it is a 2013 survey all these razors are still going strong. Out of just over 10,000 votes, about 3,700 votes were cast for double edge safety razors! My how times have changed and it would be interesting to do this survey again in 2016 seeing I only started a year or two back with safety razor shaving myself, and I have been witnessing so many small businesses growing up around the sale of wet shaving equipment recently. Gillette Fusion does head the vote count with 40% of the votes but now that a seven blade razor has been released by Dorco, the Fusion needs to quickly move to being an eight blade razor or it will fall behind in that race....
