The Day Sweden Switched Driving Sides Of The Road In 1967, the entire population of Sweden decided to change the side of the road they drove on from the left, to the right. It resulted in one massive traffic jam, but importantly, nobody died. Interesting to note that because most of the world's population are predominantly right-handed, and have a stronger right eye, that driving on the left hand side may actually be better. But still a very interesting video also covering the (assumed) origins of why left-hand driving as well as right-hand driving came about. See http://ift.tt/29La3n0
