Pokémon Go: A Guide for Parents Whether the game has launched or not in a country, the kids already seem to have it and I see my own daughter has been out with a group doing their thing. There are some real positive things about the game, from a parent's perspective and that is the kids do have to be out walking, and eggs they find in the game will require a 2 - 5km walk to hatch. The other advantages are that it is social and kids get to find out about various landmarks. There are some great safety and game tips to be found in the linked article below. For example when walking, kids can put the phone in their pocket and it will vibrate when something is to be found, and you do not need to cross a busy road to pick something up (near enough is fine).
